Data only continues to grow. That means there will be not only be more stuff to store, but likely more ways to store it. How will users decide which storage technologies work best for their purposes, whether a data center, cloud service or on location? How are traditional storage technologies changing and what's coming?
Those issues are the focus on a panel session at the January 5-6 Storage Visions, Las Vegas, which is themed, "Fast is Beautiful, But Size Matters."
This growing conference and exhibition, which is the opening act for CES, offers insights into the why, how, when and what of all things storage, with a special focus on content aspects.
The January 5 session "Evolve or Die, Storage Developments Drive New Storage System Options," will be moderated by Jeff Janukowicz, IDC with speakers Paul Wassenberg, SNIA SSI; Ryan Smith, Samsung; Mike James, SanDisk; Anand Srinivasan, Qualcomm and Don Jeanette, for the Storage Products Association, of Toshiba.
They will be joined by panelists from Primary Data and Pure Storage. The panel runs from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Pacific. Register now!
